These scones are light and delicious – only 5 easy ingredients! Pick up a punnet of fresh Kent grown strawberries, and double cream in the shop and get started!
2 cups self-raising flour
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup thick cream
1/2 cup lemonade
Simply add all ingredients into a bowl and combine – don’t over stir. Turn the mixture out onto a floured surface and knead lightly, then roll out to about 3cm thick and cut into shapes.
Place on a tray and bake until golden brown (approx 10-15 mins).
Enjoy with clotted cream and strawberry jam!
