On Location in our Kent fields…

Location Location Location

We have had a busy time this summer hosting film and photography teams on Castle Farm! We regularly welcome fashion crews, magazines, music videos and films – all of whom want to take advantage of the beautiful landscape and varies crops we grow across the valley and in the fields.

Every team is after something different and unique!

One of our favourites was this shoot with Frankie from The Saturdays for her collaboration with OASIS Fashion.

These beautiful images used a mid-Summer backdrop of tall grasses and romantic wildflowers as well as our golden canola / rapeseed crop – we love the results! You can see more here.

"Can we set fire to a grand piano?" Erm OK....

Our green wheat field was the backdrop to a stunning video shot for Sergio Lorenzo Pizzorno, otherwise known as the brainbox behind Kasabian, for his debut song ‘Nobody Else’ for his self-titled album ‘The S.L.P.’.

The shoot went from 6am through to 11pm and our lovely farm horse Winnie even made a brief appearance! We tailor cut a square of our wheat crop to house the catering vans and crew space – and made sure there were qualified pyrotechnic teams on site for the burning piano scene!

Schick Magazine covershoot

The below beautiful images were taken of African singer ‘Asa’ for her cover story interview with Schick Magazine. A lovely team took to the grounds of Castle Farm taking advantage of the romantic hop gardens, purple Lavender fields, white Hydreangeas and even some silage bales as dramatic background opportunities for the shoot!

It’s the time of year for tall maize fields and harvested stubble backdrops – take a peek at this video from singer Jacob Banks who’s video was beautifully captured on one afternoon and evening at Castle Farm. Castle Farm features from 1min 25 onwards.

Norwegian singer-songwriter and producer AURORA had her production team in wellies and waders for this magical morning shoot in the River Darenth earlier this year…. a 5:30am start for morning mist and romantic backdrops… with a breathtaking result with this lovely video.

You can learn more about AURORA here.

If you are interested in learning more about our Castle Farm Location opportunities and the onsite facilities for production teams, then please get in contact lorna_roberts@outlook.com and we will be happy to help!
