We will now only be selling our grass-fed Beef from the freezer, or fresh by pre-order only.
WHY IS THIS BETTER?
By freezing Castle Farm Beef at the perfect moment, we are maximising the flavour and freshness of the meat. The quality of the meat is not affected in any way. No chemicals or preservatives are ever used on our meat.
FLAVOUR COMES FIRST
- Our native cattle are grass-fed and slowly grown to ensure high quality meat with good fat marbling, making it extra tender and juicy.
- The cattle freely graze on the water meadows and the steep chalk banks of the Darent Valley. In winter we bring them in to our custom built, high welfare Roundhouse.
- Castle Farm Beef is hung for three weeks to develop flavour and tenderness before master butchers prepare steaks, roasting joints, stewing meat and mince.
- Each cut is carefully vacuum sealed for convenience.
