Protecting our River Darent

March 04, 2024 1 min read

The River Darent runs through the water meadows and fields at Castle Farm and is one of the UK's most beautiful chalk streams. We understand the importance of these ecosystems and are working with a group of farmers along the Darent to River and sustainably protect the river for the future.

The group of farmers is called The Darenth Valley Farm Cluster. Restoration of the River Darent is a key aim of our Landscape Recovery project.🐟🌿💧

You can learn more about what we are doing through this video...

The cluster group have recently launched an Instagram page for Darent Nature Partnership. This will be a great way to follow the DVLR journey and share photos. If you are on Instagram, please do follow the page @darentnaturepartnership.
